My Isolation

Title (Dublin Core)

My Isolation

Description (Dublin Core)

Gennady Khodov provides his reflections on quarantine
As long as you have the time, don't waste it. Quarantine gives you a chance to develop yourself. Enroll in courses, read books, learn something new. It'll help you get rid of boredom in isolation. I was lazy at first, I didn't want to do anything, I was depressed. My life changed because of the quarantine. But then I realized that our life is quite short and there's no time to waste. Time passes very quickly and lasts when you're at home... The best way to overcome your boredom is to do something...

In the very beginning of isolation, I only ate, cooked, slept and watched TV shows, and so my days passed...This groundhog day lasted a week. Then I got tired of it...I felt like I was under house arrest...Then I decided to diversify my life...I started reading books again, found a new hobby, started writing poems and after that somehow got better. The monotony makes me sick and tiresome. You have to try something new every day, because depression and boredom may come back...
