Covid Rules
During Covid-19 we had many rules and regulations. We couldn't go out to eat or shop anywhere! Nobody was allowed to stay open which affected their businesses. Places slowly adapted and stated opening up outside. To go anywhere it was mandatory to wear a mask at all times unless eating or drinking at a table. We were forced to stay home and school was online. Now school is open and we're wearing masks. The rules seems pretty dramatic since the virus isn't as bad as they say it is. Elderly people are affected by it the most since they usually have pre-existing diseases or just problems. -

"Consider some of the rules or procedures that you have to follow, and tell your feelings about them."
Corona started around 8 months ago, this virus has taken lives, jobs, and everyone's social life. When the Virus started spreading worldwide, we were given a set of rules to follow. The rules are to stay inside, social distance, wear a mask when in a public place, and wash your hands. I agree with all these rules because they are set in place to stop this virus from spreading. -

Rules and Procedures
There were quite a lot of COVID rules you had to follow throughout the pandemic. One of the rules were that you had to stay quarantined. This ruined my social life since I couldn't socialize with many people. Not socializing is actually very bad because once we come back to normal and the pandemic is gone, a lot of people won't remember how to socialize. Another rule was to stay clean and sanitized which I actually like because it decreases the risk of getting COVID. You also had to wear a mask when around other people to also decrease the risk of getting COVID. One of the bigger procedures was to stay 6 feet apart which a lot of people followed by, but others just ignored it. Later on through the pandemic, some of these rules were getting broken and more lenient. I find this good since a lot more people were socializing and having fun instead of sitting in your room all day. -

The Procedures
The rules starting out felt kind of weird in the beginning. It felt kind of extreme whilst at the same time, understandable. I can recall that some rules were that we must stay at home unless absolutely necessary (food, gas, anyone in the medical field, officers, most jobs). -

Covid-19 Christmas
My Christmas was normal in the sense that we were in a pandemic. My family did follow the rules that governor Newsum sent out. We were only supposed to have 5 family members come over, but at my house in California, we had 11. My parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and my cousin with her husband all came over for Christmas. I live in a big house in California so we were the best house to host at. Me and my mom hate hosting so this year was torture. My chocolate labrador, Dania was very excited to have so many people over. The morning of Christmas was very normal. My grandma and my aunt made cinnamon rolls. Making cinnamon rolls is a tradition on Christmas in my family. I am the youngest in the family so I am in charge of handing out all the presents that were under the tree. In my family, we call that job the Elf. That job was a lot of work for me to do all on my own. After we upon all the presents, I helped make lunch. At night we watched the second Wonder Woman. In the middle of the movie, my uncle's mom died of covid-19. -

Covid-19
When this pandemic began, I thought nothing of it. I would just go to school regularly, go out to eat, watch movies etc. Fast forward to now, January 6th, 2021, and we are all quarantining at home still. Thanksgiving, and Christmas did not feel like a regular holiday. Though going out to some places, felt more at ease as if this was the new normal. Going on vacation, rules are very strict, and there is not many things to do. Though everything ended up fun as expected. Now there is a vaccine and everything can only get better from here. -
