  What I do to Help Pass the Time

  I was really bored and needed something to help me pass the time while stuck at home. I was able to purchase this paint by number kit online. I severely underestimated how much time it would take to complete this painting. The portion that is painted took me about three days of on and off work. I am still working on it, and I have all the time in the world right now. It is interesting to see how different people pass their time during the pandemic. Some people are doing major projects while others just small ones. #CSUS #HIST15H

  Increased Traffic on Online Gaming Servers: League of Legends

  The image is a permanent message posted on the game client of League of Legends since the quarantine began. As more people are spending time at home, the online gaming servers of League of Legends are being overburdened because too many people are accessing the game at the same time. This leads to game lag and increased strain on the internet service providers. This seems to be a direct effect of the Covid-19 outbreak since more people have free time, why not make time move faster by playing video games. I am certain there is increased traffic with all video games, online or offline, because video games are a popular source of home entertainment in today's world. Riot Games created the image. They are the company responsible for creating the game League of Legends.

  This meme resonated with me because it's very true, and it speaks volumes. The reaction of the time traveler would be exactly like the meme because 2020 seems like a terrible year. There are a lot of bad things about it outside of coronavirus, but the coronavirus is the main problem of 2020. I thought it was weird when I realized we were living in history right now, we are on lockdown and I had never imagined anything like this before.   This meme was funny to me because it shows the extremes that people are willing to go to, in order to get things like hand sanitizer during this time. This relates to my life because whenever I've gone to the store for groceries, I see signs in the front saying "no hand sanitizer, no sanitization wipes, no toilet paper, etc." or "limit 1 hand sanitizer per person". I didn't know it would get that crazy, but I guess Pennywise has a new way to get kids to come into the sewers with him in 2020. #CSUS #HIST15H

  Mother Health Care Professionals and their children

  This image displays a baby, reaching out and touching the face shield of what seems to be her mother all gowned up and dressed in PPE. The woman in the picture who seems to be a health care worker who is also a mother is crying as she is torn away from beating able to hug and kiss her child because of the possibility of being infected after working in the hospital with coronavirus patients. This picture is especially special because it touches upon the hardships that health care workers are facing after working with patients all-day and not being able to have that relief of coming home and being comforted by their family members. This post was also made right before mother's day. The caption to this picture was in Portuguese and said "Mães. Hoje é o vosso dia.
