This image is different than the typical post by large format non profits, they have been a majority informative and education based posts.

United Nations Women advocate for and tell the stories of women across the globe, during the pandemic it is easy to forget the large picture as well as the details. The work prioritizes utility over artistry, I see this as a common theme through the non profit organization posts.

This picture shows what a ghost town New Orleans was in the early days of the pandemic. This was before national stay-at-home orders were in place. When I left New Orleans I had to quarantine alone for 14 days. By the time I left quarantine it didn’t matter anymore. Submitted Day 8 of the Governor’s stay-at-home order.

On mother's day i wanted to paint the beauty of tulips, and somehow the coronavirus become part of the beauty of nature... present, silent, intrusive.... and still part of our lives... in spite of our efforts to avoid it. The Spring is blooming in 2020, beautifully, while covid-19 is all around us.

I'm a member of several community (some smaller, some wider) Facebook groups. I am not overly active, especially when discussion occur that get heated. In this screenshot, someone asked if anyone actually knew anyone with Covid-19, as opposed to just a friend of a friend. Within this particular group, there is a large contingent of people that refer to the pandemic as "plandemic" and sincerely believe that the government, or the left, or whatever, are using this pandemic to further control the public and ruin the economy. Many of the respondents to this question (over 200 at the time I took this screenshot) emphasized that they knew of no one, and it was being blown out of proportion. I found this particular interaction in the comments interesting, however, because the first person that, in all caps, stated that it was a sham, immediately offered condolences to the person who's friend almost died. It reminded me that people will say- or yell in caps- in social media and get all worked up, but they can be kind. I don't know if this person changed their mind about it being a sham after "hearing" about a near death, but it shows how crazy comment sections can be.

The COVID-19 virus disrupts life, particularly our relationships with those we love. But, relationships are flexible and adapt to circumstance. My brother's economics professor has not posted his final grade, yet. Remote learning creates many opportunities for students to violate the academic integrity policies of their schools, and my brother's class was no exception. Due to several perceived violations on the final exam, his professor delayed the posting of all final grades. In other words, although he did not cheat, he had to sweat it out with everyone else. My mother knew he was worried and wanted to leave him with some encouragement in the morning, so she left this note on his laptop before she left for work. We don't see her in the morning anymore, but my mom is always there for us. #FordhamUniversity #VART3030

I love in Bremen, Georgia, USA, a tiny town 65 miles west of Atlanta, Georgia. I also have asthma and an immunosuppressed due to the medications I take for rheumatoid arthritis. Covid-19 has been an eye-opening experience for me. I never really thought about being immunosuppressed until now. Sure, I had to be careful if someone around me was sick, but I could pretty much go where I wanted, if I wanted, with no fear. Now, I wear a mask and gloves when I go for a walk. I don't go to the store for anything -- my husband goes. No outdoor places with large crowds, which are getting more prevalent in my state since Governor Kemp lifted the stay at home restrictions, foolishly, in my humble opinion. Every little thing that starts up bodily, my first thought is, "Is it Covid?" I started having an occasional dry cough on Friday with a weird feeling on my tongue, headache, and achiness. Is it Covid? Well, I do cough due to a medication I'm on, and I'm prone to migraines, not to mention I ache a lot from the RA, so it probably isnt. Can't get tested anyway. So I wait, and watch, and mull over each possible symptom. I turn to TV and books and school (even online as it is until the fall) to take my mind off possible symptoms. I worry when my husband has a cough and complains of headache. I worry about our son, who lives with us and works from home right now. I worry they're going to call him back into work while cases and deaths are still rising. I worry. But we'll get through this.

Es así que, el bus de la línea C cumplía con su transporte habitual con una cantidad regular de pasajeros. De pronto, dentro de la unidad, una mujer empezó a sentirse mal y se descompensó para sorpresa de todos.Los pasajeros, lejos de ayudar a la mujer, se bajaron raudamente y la dejaron sola pues ella empezó a respirar agitadamente. Solo una persona se quedó a grabar a la mujer quien tendría los síntomas del coronavirus, hecho que atemorizó a más de uno.

Who among us would be directly touched by the virus? We had met regularly to support each other on our fitness journeys prior to the outbreak, providing encouragement and congratulations on minor achievements such as a 5K or 10K race, sprint training, a session of hills. Every member of the Top 10 Running Club is is over 40 and the oldest member is 56. Most are nursing physical injuries. Naturally, virus fatigue also took a toll on members' emotions. Now, separately but together through a group chat, we send the same encouraging messages, but the encouragement has a tint of urgency, more warnings to take care, and I imagine that behind the congratulatory notes for miles accomplished is an other-worldly voice whispering "It could be your last training session." The voice worms into my mind, between my running play list songs, saying "stay away from the walkers, bikers, other runners, steer clear! Pull on your mask! Warning! A child on a bike! Run ..." Where once I ran, I now feel the urge to run away. The group continues to provide encouragement, nonetheless. I am fighting the fear, so I suggested a 100 mile group run for the month of May. May is the month that signals the start of warmer weather in Northern Indiana and solidarity for ordinary working people in some countries around the world. Safety in numbers, even when apart, feels better, I reasoned. I got a great response from the group working on their goals, and almost every one of the 10 or so members participated. We accomplished the goal by May 11 despite record cold temperatures. I plan to extend the challenge and add others to give us all the will to run past this challenge in our lives.

This image is a photo of the shelfs that used to hold toilet paper. The reason that they are empty is because when corona first hit and quarantine was beginning, everybody rushed to buy as much toilet paper as they could, in case of a lock down or stores being closed. This led to many stores running out and other individuals having difficulty acquiring toilet paper. For my family personally, we came to a point where we had gone to about three or four different stores and all of them were out of toilet paper, so we had to ask some family friends for some in the meantime.

The Department of Defense placed a travel ban for military personnel and their families. At this time (03/19/20), the ban was set until May 11. However, in the middle of April, the ban extended the end date for the travel prohibition to June 30. This put stress on my parents because I'm not allowed to fly back home. They were worried about where I would stay once classes were done. In messages prior to the one shown, we discussed our limited options. With the help of Facebook, some relatives connected to my mother and we found out that my mother’s aunt and uncle in the Tucson area. This was incredibly fortunate for us and I’m extremely appreciative of the generosity of my great aunt and great uncle.

The source includes testimony of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo regarding the present statistics of Covid-19 in New York. The evidence is shocking because as the government tries to determine how the virus is spreading, they uncover most of the hospitalized population to be those who were quarantined at home and non-essential. The homeless. the jailed, the essential workers, and even the users of public transportation were of the lowest percentage of hospitalized people. My names Ryan Altman, I'm an 18 year old teen from California. Recently I became very sick with a fever and an extremely sore throat. I went to the doctor thinking it was strep throat and they thought that it was strep also. They tested me for strep and did two tests. I was given a rapid test that came back negative and a longer test that we would receive the results to after 3 days. The doctor assumed I had strep so she gave me antibiotics. The doctor didn't think it was necessary to test me for Covid-19. After three days we received a phone call telling us that my strep results came back negative. At this point I was feeling somewhat better so I nearly finished my antibiotics. after a few days of feeling better I woke up with a horrible sore throat again and a fever so we called the doctor. The doctor still didn't (kinda refused) to test me for corona because I wasn't coughing. They said that I most likely had mono and that there was no point in testing me for mono or covid. So I'm currently at home unsure of what sickness I have, unsure of how to treat my sickness to get better, and worst of all I could be spreading the virus to other people because I don't even know if I have it or not.

May is usually the beginning of graduation season, but because of social distancing, a lot of graduation ceremonies have unfortunately been cancelled. Since both Ellen and graduates across the country are home, she put on her gown and gave a commencement speech to honor the class of 2020.
